I want to do conditional formatting across two different worksheets but it says you can only do it on one worksheet. What I am trying to do is make sure that what is written in cell A3 in worksheet 1 is also written in cell A3 worksheet 2, does anyone know how to do this?

Can you not just use =Sheet1!A3 ?

    If not try -

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

    If Target.Address <> ("$A$3") Then Exit Sub
    Cells(3, 1).Copy
    Sheets("Sheet2").Cells(3, 1).PasteSpecial xlPasteAll

    End Sub

    Hope that helps.
