I read a disurbing story yesterday that has really played on my mind about a child being killed by some twisted scumbag. And I am seriously thinking about purchasing some sort of tracking device so I know where my son is at all times as he now goes to school and goes round his friends houses etc.

Now you may be thinking this is OTT but honestly if something happened to my kids Id go crazy no doubt. Does anyone know of any device out there?

That's why I have the Find My Phone app installed on my families phones.

 

Without getting into specifics. My house was broken into and our family held at knife point. One of them stole my iphone and after we made the 999 call I was able to track them using Apple's Find My iPhone app. They were arrested by firearms unit within minutes.

Apple has an app called Find my Friends. You can simply turn on the location services on his phone and see his location when you need to.
