Chat room?

    Does anybody actually use the chat room? :oops:

    I know I haven't been a member for a long time but I have logged into the chat room a few times and nobody ever seems to be there!

    Back in the dim and distant past we would meet up on a Thursday to have a chat and crack a few beers, but this seemed to die a death. We even tried to hold some discussion groups but the take up was very small.

    We could try to start these up again if there is enough interest.

    The problem was that at the start the chat room was only open on thursday nights and therefore people made a big effort to turn up. Then as CF got more funds and were able to open the chat room 24/7 then like AJ said, it just petered out.:(

    I'll be there tomorrow though.:biggrin

    I went in......but then I left.

    Having an alloted time slot sounds a good way to get people back, it's just a shame for me that it's on a Thursday. I see the girlfriend on a thursday.

    Hey Si went in tonight and I wasn't there to reply in the minute he was there!

    Never knew about the Thursday chat room, might pop in tomorrow then! :D
