Its always with great regret but also great appreciation that we make announcements of staff members stepping down from their positions here on CertForums.

Unfortunately this is one of those announcements, Pete aka @Bluerinse will be stepping down from his current role as moderator here at CertForums. A member since the very beginning of CF's birth (June 29, 2003) Pete has given so much to the site I personally want to thank him deeply for everything he has done. Please join me in thanking Pete for his continued contribution to CertForums and I for one hope its not the last we see of him in the forums.

Thanks from everyone past and present Pete. :)

Thanks Pete, it's been a pleasure getting to know you, despite you living in a massively more beautiful place than I do :)

I hope that you'll still frequent the place mate. It's still a place to hang out if you're not that into certification these days. Even if I ceased working in IT I know I'd still hang around here, its just a habit now :)

Best of luck for the future, are you still in IT like? I feel you owe me some answers! ha ha

Thanks Simon, so many fun memories. I wish Certforums all the very best for the future and I will be around from time to time.
Still in IT, just lost interest in the current certification paths *sigh*

Bah, surely not lost interest in chatting crap with us lot tho :)

Do you mind I ask what role you're doing in IT mate? I'm definitely having a break from certification but I'm still a big believer. I'll probably avoid the low level stuff but there's always high level certs to nab. VACP, BCS, TOGAF, lets have it! :shades

Behave sounds pretty sweet to me mate plus not being funny, have you seen how ridiculous these changes are in operating systems these days? I've got a few certs now but I probably won't know how to regedit windows 10! It's probably not even called a registry anymore :S Keep your hand, or that employee's hand in certification mate. If you don't fancy it be like Micky mate, you've still got Rocky to train ha ha

I actually personally prefer and use Windows 7, to me it is the best OS M$ have released to date. I do mean for computers though, not touch screen toys.

Totally agree mate but times they are a changing. I think 7 will be XP v2. It will stick around until the bitter end because it works great but you know how it is, I loved XP most until I got used to 7....

Just to echo what Si has said. We go back to the beginning of CF and we've seen a lot of changes.
Thanks very much for everything you've done for the forums and make sure you stay the boards to chat about crap with the rest of us.

    Cheers mate
