blocky images

    Cheers Mat, how do i go about doing that, is there a tool for that , or can i do it in irfanview

    I ususally use Fireworks for basic image editing.

    If you select the 'trim canvas' option, it will get rid of any surplus background.

    Then change the canvas to a distinctive colour, which is not already part of your image.

    Then use the export wizard to select which colours are going to be transparent. Make sure you select all shades of the colour - otherwise the anti-alias will give you a weird glow...

    This may sound daft but ill have to reincorporate the images from start as they will be renamed etc??

    Ah so that is how you do it. I never understood that transparent colour option properly before. 8)
