Basic networking setup in Debian/Linux

    Here is a link to an article on how to set up basic networking information in Debian. Now while the article is specific to Debian, it's very much applicable to all Linux distro's as the only things you'll find that might be different are directories and files where the data is stored and the names of some of the tools to be used. The basics will all be the same.

    Be sure to read the discussion that follows the article. There is some very information in it.
