    Im off all weekend for this now, so im heading to Birmingham on the Friday and then doing a bit shopping. Gonna head over to Northampton on the Saturday morning. I was going to get the train down from Newcastle on the Saturday morning but i wouldnt arrive till after 3. This wouldnt be any good because it would hit into my valuable drinking time lol. So if anyone fancies a few bevvies in Birmingham on the 2nd then let me know :)

    Hey, Raff, fancy alcohol poisoning that weekend?

    I'm on a night out around Brum with some buddies from work. I'll be around from around 2pm (booked the afternoon off work) starting in Bushwhackers, on Edmund Street.

    And, for ease of getting to Northants (and cheapness!) do you know what time you're planning to travel on Saturday? Trains from Brum to Cov are much more regular; I can pick you up from Cov station, and we can drive over to Northants if you want.

    I get into Brum around 2ish, gonna do a bit shopping, then il meet up with you for a few bevvies later on if ya up for it.

    Ive already got my ticket booked for Northampton, but cheers for the offer:)

    All going well, and providing my social secretary gives me permission ... erm ... checks the my schedule for that day is free (good recovery there .. no one noticed), I will make it along too.

    Shazbut, totally gutted I cant make it. got a friends 30th birthday to go to in Leicester. Looks like its going to be a good turnout though. Take plenty of pics.

    Right - I'm in now - just booked the hotel. I wondered about the Ibis, as it is a bit cheaper than the one I'm in, but I was concerned that it was due to open the week before, and didn't want to risk turning up to find it wasn't open yet! :biggrin

    Sigh - I'm going to have to admit to a 'senior moment' I had typed Nottingham rather than Northampton! :oops:

    In mitigation I plead that I was distracted by a major hardware failure on a billing box I run, and was not really concentrating on what I was doing!
