I'm fairly old school when it comes to my XP theme so I set everything to classic mode except the Start dialogue menu.

However, recently, XP seems to lose the classic setting on each reboot meaning I am back to rounded windows and that horrible Green/Blue colour scheme after each restart.

    Any ideas why?

Have you got a mandatory user profile?

If so, any changes you make will revert the next time you log in.

If this is your own personal computer then this is unlikely to be the case but it is the only thing I can think of which would cause this to happen.

Basically an administrator can set up a profile and make it mandatory by re-naming Ntuser.dat to Ntuser.man.

You're quite right it is my personal machine so there are no policies in place other than those that I put in place :biggrin

Not a huge problem just one of those niggly things.
