add/remove programs problem

Alright folks thanks for looking and thanks in advance if you can help..

Right here goes i repartitiond my 250Gb disk from 5 x 45-50Gb partitions and made it 1 partition, most things have worked fine, games run programs run etc, the problem i have is one of the partitions that was deleted had MS outlook and active sync on there, unfortunatley this is one of the things lost, i have tried re-installing both apps but to no avail. XP screams at me and tell me there installed even though not anymore, i have tried to uninstall but also no dice, does anybody have a way i can get around this or a way of removing the program entry`s in XP so they can be re-istalled? thanks again and any help would be greatly appreciated
