Well, I just got around to re-testing my VPN to my home lab

Access was blocked from my previous workplace, but now I can get in.

I now have access to everything in my Lab

PPTP 128Bit Encrption, via RRAS with MSCHAPv2 (I think, need to recheck settings to confirm).

 

Not L2TP /IPSec? Explain yourself man!

Haha, did deploy that in my lab, but at work here we tend to always use PPTP, so I got on the bandwagon.

290 is good. When I started I found myself doing a lot more work that was required (setting up the different aspects of the servers, creating the domain etc in my test lab) so I've zoomed through a hell of a lot of content already.

I'm still writing notes on all of the easy stuff though, because I'm a sap and like to not miss any small bits of information.

Sorely tempted to just watch the CBT videos and go and take the exam...

In all seriousness I'll probably reduce the note taking a hell of a lot and read the chapter summaries. If I know the stuff then I'll skip it, else I'll read the chapter.

We'll see.

There just seem to be so many more chapters in this book, 18 to be exact.
