Haha, did deploy that in my lab, but at work here we tend to always use PPTP, so I got on the bandwagon.

Ha ha busy busy bee. Thats what I like to see. CCENT/CCNA is on my to do list too. VCP probably not as you have to go on the official course and I've got enough training coming up. Want to get in your MCSE club 1st and foremost tho :D Its such a long and tiring experience getting your MCSE isn't it :blink

    Hah, yeah. Sods law eh?

290 is good. When I started I found myself doing a lot more work that was required (setting up the different aspects of the servers, creating the domain etc in my test lab) so I've zoomed through a hell of a lot of content already.

I'm still writing notes on all of the easy stuff though, because I'm a sap and like to not miss any small bits of information.

Sorely tempted to just watch the CBT videos and go and take the exam...

    *shrugs*

    Mmmm digression.

Lol. But I've only been studying it for less than a week! It doesn't feel right. :p

Thanks for the offer, but hold off a bit. I will take you up on it in future though (probably when I'm doing 291).

Don't worry about time frames mate, mine are all over the place. Spent 4-5 months studying 291 but spent 10 days to study and pass 620 (vista config) and 624 (vista and office 07 deployment)!

That said I go off my gut feeling if I'm ready, and holding off is always wise as I've also failed 3 exams now

    Wing it! Got ya :p

In all seriousness I'll probably reduce the note taking a hell of a lot and read the chapter summaries. If I know the stuff then I'll skip it, else I'll read the chapter.

    We'll see.

There just seem to be so many more chapters in this book, 18 to be exact.
