Hey everyone,

So I have decided to go for my first cert and get MCITP'd up!

I have started off by trying to find some good training materials for both exams but all of the books out there seem to have really crap reviews so I don't know what to go for. I don't really want to waste time studying a book that wont help me with the exam as I am very serious about this!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Catalina,

There are a number of materials you could use to study for this exam. I have the 70-680 MS Press book and so far it seems to cover a lot (there are a couple of mistakes with commands - but with googling this can be sorted) I haven't used another book for this yet so cannot comment further.

Using a book alone is not an ideal way to understand all the topic areas and this should be used in conjunction with other learning materials.

Such as (in no particular order)
MS website
Technet website
Forums
Videos
Practice with the OS
Other books on the subject area

A combination of these should give you the best results.
