    Hi All

I am just preparing for the 70-291 one exam and have come across a problem with subnetting. The attached is from the readiness review although it has given the answer to the question, I still don’t follow as the rules that have been applied to identify the incorrect answers would fit for the others I have marked as incorrect subnets.

I think I am missing something here, can anyone tell me were I went wrong

First of all, sometimes the answers in the practice exams (or even real exams) are incorrect.

Secondly, you're violating some copyrights or something like that by posting a picture of the study material (therefore, I cannot answer your question as I believe I may also be infringing on something by doing so).

However, this is a fully justified question and I suggest you do a little bing/google search on valid subnets and why they're valid. A few hours of research will make many things very clear :)

Try this site Blair :- http://www.learntosubnet.com/

It can be a tad repetetive in places but is a really great resource for learning to subnet. I found it one of the most useful guides of all the ones I tried.
