Dont buy from them they are as bad as PC world (a bunch sales people who pretend to know stuff, in this case games)

Did you know that game started selling GTA san andreas for the xbox before they were officially allowed to, its still under investigation.

Slightly off topic but worth mentioning

its true i worked for electronic boutique (they own game, now all EB stores are called game) for about 6 weeks over christmas when i was in college. the perks were quite good though, were allowed to borrow games to "test" and got 25% off software and 10% off hardware :)

I thought it was a better place when it was just EB than game there must have been some managment change that caused it turn into a place you would only go to as a last resort for your game.

PC world is only good when they have the sales on because its cheap and local, apart that and only that its a no go zone for me.

You are speaking the truth, I think if you go to any pc world store or game you might find one person who works there who knows what they are talking about.

A couple of months ago I was in pc world and I heard a man ask one of the sales people would I be able to fit an external hard drive to this pc?

The sales person then replied I'll just get our IT expert he will know.

and this is supposed to be a top place for advice from the 'Tech Guys' it makes me laugh with pity for the fools that trust this place.

I have also asked advice from 'the tech guys' I asked if a GPU fan I was buying was truly universal as it said that on the label on the shelf he said it was and it bloody wasnt, got a refund anyway

erm...theres no such thing as a univeral GPU cooler, ATI and Nvidia are totally different sizes and it varies between each model too. the only way it would be universal is if they gave you a tube of epoxy instead of a mounting kit

i once a long time ago asked about some coolermaster thermal compound as to which of the two products they were selling was the best and why. their reply was the most expensive because it costs more. needless to say i only ever use a/s now.
