I was going to use this for mine, but it doesn't look nearly as good on the desktop as I thought it would. Turned out to look pretty bad.

It's amazing the lack of ubuntu specific wallpaper there is out there.

 

Doesn't Ubuntu include the Gnome 2.10 wallpaper? It's better than that orange monstrosity. Or do you just like to advertise Ubuntu on your desktop?

I download/make all my own wallpaper off the net. If you like nature scenes northernimages.com is one of the best sites around for wallpaper. He's got more than a 1000 photos there to choose from that he'll allow you to use as wallpaper, as long as you leave his logo on the picture.

 

Actually, ubuntu just has three wallpaper samples including no wallpaper (it's just a brown background). I wanted something that was ubuntu specific but I guess I'll just grab something from the net when I get home tonight. I like Linux desktops. The graphics just seem to be very creative.

 

Agreed, and there is a line in one of the songs that goes "run wabbit run, dig that hole catch the sun." I think it was written by Elmer Fudd? So watch out Trip

I would just like to apolgise for having the T*** K*** files!

I had no idea they were looked upon as evil!

A friend gave them to me when I mentioned I was looking into my A+ and he said they could help.

Lucky I had them showing on my desktop screenshot otherwise I would never have known they are to be left alone!
