Desktop uptime 33 days in this shot. Processor is a AMD 3000+ @ 1.8GHz and I'm running the 64-bit version of Fedora Core 6.

It doesn't run very well unfortunately. :(

Anywho, my latest two Fedora Core 6 shots:
    http://4crito.com/screenshots/fc6_feb27.png
    http://4crito.com/screenshots/xen.png

In first one I'm showing off my uber tight security (using NSA's SELinux mandatory access controls, Firestarter/iptables firewall and some hosts file entries). In second I'm creating a new virtual machine with Xen -- think VMWare for Linux -- using a GUI wizard.

OK, last one from me for a while, just to prove that I actually do use Windows:

In this latest episode I'm browsing product/time/sales data in a SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services cube. And I've got it all running on a Toshiba laptop. :D

Have own data warehouse, will travel...

Hey Barry. You might want to consider the icons on display on your desktop before posting - bearing in mind this is a family show :)

Thanks - by all means re-post your desktop, but perhaps without the police reference :D

VMWare and Xen are dead to me now that I've found KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine, not a keyboard/video/mouse switch).

Windows Server 2003 R2, SQL Server 2005 with Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services, plus a SharePoint web farm and the Office 2007 suite, all running under Linux. :biggrin

I had to put four gigs of RAM in the box though.

Looks like you've got the Royale Theme on the go there ThomasMc. So have I :P Pic is of myself (left) and my good friend Liam. I'm fully aware that the pic is centred, and yes I know it looks silly with a border. But someone took the picture at too low a resolution to make it a decent size ¬_¬.

Here is a screen shot of my desktop running Debian (Etch). It's nothing special but it was fun fooling around with it.
