That is Skye and the Skye Bridge from the mainland. It was stunning! Then the next day it was torrential rain and gale force winds- couldn't see a thing!

Question, the software I'm using for my xp skin (style xp) expires in a week, and I'm kinda grudging having to pay $20 for it when you can these things for free, is there any way I can get the same skin without using that software or will I just have to find a free alternative?

 

I see a few of you have got clever little desktop thingies for monitoring CPU temp etc. I've got a rubbish one in my task bar. Can anyone recommend a cool one?

 

How do you get a picture of your desktop?

 

the 'print screen' button copies the visual contents of your screen to the clipboard. you can then paste it in some graphics prog.

 

Get Yahoo Widget Engine...then download some of the cool little apps that monitor CPU usage, temp, RAM, Hard drive space...its mint......

and also SmartBar XP (both of which I use on my machine...see my screen shot) they are free by the way...but word of warning some of them can take up RAM so make sure u have available...

i have seen this so many times but never did post cause i hate wallpaper for the xp! Now i got my debian up and running... lookie lookie!

 

I think I beat you on the female side zimbo...just have a look at this beauty I have right now......you should have seen the last two before this one...even trip would have collapsed if he saw them!! haha!!

 

mine will win hands down... cause she uses debian!
