I've got a good 4/5 inch of snow in Leeds, and it seems that from looking at facebook everyones had the day off to go sledging and building snowmen and I'm stuck in work.

No doubt by the time I leave all the snow will have gone.

Ah well the car park was fun this morning!

No snow here! We hit 60F yesterday, which was quite nice. I don't like the cold weather... however, I'd endure it to see a foot or two of snow dumped on Nashville.

Funnily enough I was looking at some jobs in the 'park' the other day, but they where all development based.

Do they have run of the mill system admin support jobs?

Yup - making up for the many years that we didn't have snow when we were kids.. Funny thing is the lawns of the houses surrounding us are untouched and they all have kids!!

What does your snow normally do then?

Kind of reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes.

Wait till you guys need to clear a meter of snow away just so you can open your car door and then we'll talk about snow.

That's nearly as evil looking as Zebs :D

normally the snow we get just melts as soon as hits the ground, it usually has to be very heavy and sustained to lay.

The south never get any which is why the country ground to a halt yesterday. For some reason some people seem to think that the south is the only thing that matters in the UK so when they get an inch or two of snow or a couple of centimeters of rain then panic ensues.

Aha, I thought you might have the rare "standing up" type of snow, or the rarer still, "leaning over" type. To see that you get the plain old laying down and melting straightaway variety, is well, depressing really:twisted:
