XP and the annoying network connection pop ups.

    I have had old dial up connections set up before and for a time I had this problem, however I did eventually stop it from happening, but for the life of me I cant remember how I did it, I dont know whether it was when I first set up the connections or afterwards in the Properties of the connections or in Internet Explorers options...since I dont have any dial up connections anymore I honestly couldnt say but if u let me make one up 2nite I will inform u of the fix...

    thanks. tbh i would have deleted them fullstop, but it happens so rarely that i always forget when it does happen! :oops:

    Good link, thanks. I have checked to see that there is nothing i don't know about running. I have pinpointed it to when the wireless connection drops out. Really speaking with <never dial a connection> it shouldn't do it, but it does!
