    Help me

I have managed to get rid of all the toolbars in Word 2000 and can't get them back on matter what I do. All I have left is the Title bar, Rulers, Scroll bars and the page itself! Excel and the rest are fine - just Word.

    Any ideas guys???

Hi Rosy I have a user at work who keeps doing this, the way round it is a registry hack. I ended up exporting the relevant key to a .reg file from a working system and importing that when he screws up his toolbars, corrected in 2 seconds. Unfortunately I'm on a course at the moment so I don't have acces to the .reg file. I'll try and find the details on the web when I have a minute.

Firstly thanks to all for the swift help - most appreciated - but special thanks to Nelix who has just spent well over an hour going through this problem and trying various things over MSN - you're a real star Nelix!

Also thanks Phil, I was just reading the link as Nelix was telling me to close the Registry menu!

For anyone with the same problem in the future below is what Nelix talked me through doing:

click START then RUN, type "regedit" (no quotes), Goto the Registry Editor, double click on the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then double click software, then microsoft, office, 9.0, Word, with the DATA folder highlighted, click rename on the EDIT menu, rename with 'OldData', ok, click the REGISTRY menu and select exit, open word as normal.

Thanks again guys!!!!!! Although it means I have to get back to work now!
