Word 97 has disappeared

Well, not exactly. The program is still on my little Windows 98SE machine, but not in the programs menu. To get it to open, we have to open a word document that already exists, close the document and open a new one. How did it simply vanish from the programs menu one day, where did it go, and how do I get it back? Boy, I've been full of these interesting little mysteries lately.

Not sure how it disapeared Trip but if you search for WINWORD.EXE then make a shortcut to that then you will be able to start word that way.

 

You can then Drag that shortcut back onto the programs menu. Or you could add the shortcut to the driveletter:\windows\start menu\programs folder.
