Steven is a computer networking student. He is studying the IEEE standards as they relate to various wireless technologies. Right now, he is reviewing the information on IEEE 802.16 also known as WiMax. Steven finds out that there are variations to this standard. 802.16a was released first and loosely defined fixed wireless transmission in the 2 GHz to 11 GHz range. The next version fixed some of the errata in the 802.16a. Which was the next version according to Steven’s research?

    A. 802.16b
    B. 802.16c
    C. 802.16d
    D. 802.16e

    Choose one answer. Answer later.

Edit: All those 11s that previously appeared above should have been 16s as they are now. Hope that clears things up.
