What sort of business will you be setting up.

If its it related try registering as a microsoft partner. This will allow you to subscribe to the action pack which gives you 10x xp pro and office licences as well as sbs2003 and loads of other apps.

    £199 a year - bargain

Great for studying as you have access to literally everything!

You may want to read the fine print again, unless M$ changed the rules for the end user, but I doubt it.

The Action Pack rules state you cannot use the software in a production environment......granted I've been a subscriber for a number of years so the rules may have changed.

To be able to get OEM software, have a look at the Microsoft system builder scheme.
You're best bet is to go for partnership based on the number of systems you build, or maybe the amount of software you ship.

Microsoft love giving system builders cheap OEM deals so that everyone can own a Windows PC, purely because it annoys Freddy...

But just be aware, this is for people who build PCs and sell them, not for people who want to flog cheap versions of XP at the car boot sale!
