Hi everyone, hope someone can help. I am running windows 7 Ultimate and I used wordpad to modify a downloaded document which happend to be a reclaiming your ppi insurance template off moneysupermarket.com

It def saved but it saved to a temp folder.

I have tried accessing it from opening wordpad and clicking ppistep1 and it says an error has occured and it cannot be opened.

I have done a search too and nothing appears.

I can't think of anything else :( anyone got any ideas?

Also it said update document I think if i remember rightly when I clicked something if that helps? I'm not familar with wordpad having an update document facility.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Why dont you try to restore the file from back-up, Click restore My Files in the Backup and Restore console.

it may or may not help you.

If its a downloaded form off the net I'd be tempted to save mucking about and just download it and fill it in again tbh.

Go to the properties of the start menu, customize and enable recent items, then check recent items in the start menu, may be there.
