Windows 7 RC, what you think so far?

I've also noticed that the speech recognition kind of sucks as well. They have made a lot of good progress but the technology still needs just so much work, I really don't see where using it would be more practical than a keyboard or keyboard/mouse combo.

 

Do I detect a note of cynicism?

Seriously though, it does run well on older equipment. Much better than Vista. On my old laptop I had so many problems with XP so I installed Server 2003. It ran okay but then I put Vista on it and it was very slow. Now it's got Windows 7 RC on it and it runs like a dream.

 

installed Win 7 and oh my! it is nice and had no issues at the moment... will be playing with it properly next month some time.
btw: does anyone know whether Bitlocker would work under Win 7 in a VM environment?
