    Hi all,

This is a real important query!!

I have two Windows 2000 SP4 machines. One has a parallel printer connected to it which I have shared.

I then connect to it using Administrator on the other machine.

It works fine, however when my mum logs in to this machine it says Access is denied?!

How do I resolve this, e.g. enable all users access, or do I have to put a corresponding user acount on the machine with the printer on for my mum, so it can transparently authenticate...

    Please help!

    Hey,

I thought so, but was ideally looking for a way to share the printer so anyone could get to it regardless!!

Even in a home environment it's usually not a good idea to give everyone access to things.
