Win98/XP Dual booting

    its not that they have to both be on C nugget, as i have had WinME on D drive before

    but partitioned disks still have only one MBR (as its a physical trait of the disk) and there can only one BOOT partition of a disk (physical)

    so only one could be on the boot partition
    and each one would overwrite the others changes in the MBR

    you will need a NT based OS on there to manage the MBR, and you can only one one archaic based OS per system
    why not just use VMWare?

    the last time I installed VMWare Phoenix...it nearly killed my machine hence why I had to reinstall XP after formatting the HDD...hmm here's an idea...I could install XP again on the second HDD and install VMWare onto that...what do you think? is that wise? or not? :dry...
