When running ISA server, how does the server know which NIC to use as the external NIC, does it use the one with the highest IP address of the 2 NIC's installed??

It uses the LAT and the LDT, which is why it's important to have the correct local address ranges and Domains entered there.

    My IP Range is 192.168.1.X

.1 - .11 are static addresses for printers server etc

    .12 - .20 are DHCP assigned

192.168.1.4 is the external IP of the ISA
    192.168.1.5 is the internal

    Does that make sense
