yeah, i've heard it used in germany in that context as well, but as you said, the most common useage for geil would be cool. no such thing in dutch. geil just means horny, in a raunchy kind of way.

what i meant is that in german 'geil' has multiple meanings, in dutch only one.
but actually you are correct. there are many dutch words that come close to 'cool', but there's no real equivalent. we dutchies just aren't cool.
