Im not sure if something like this has been done on CF but since the forum is virtually run by beer i thought to ask:

Courage Directors at the mo, but Bass, Bombardier, Abbot Ale, Old Speckled Hen, London Pride etc. etc. etc.

As long as it's a handpulled real ale I'm not fussy!!!

Stella, VB, Pieroni, Holsten Pils - pretty much any quality premium lager. Recently had a pint of draught Staropramen that was quite literally one of the most beautiful beers I have ever tasted (until the next one :alc )

As an Aussie, it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that my favourite beer is any beer with alcohol in it.:D

VB is mostly the favourite of choice, but a couple of German and Belgian beers are there too. :alc

I would spell them but most people would break their jaws just trying to say the names.:blink

I can't recommend the beers made by the Porterhouse enough.

Otherwise, most things german work for me. Guinness works too.. preferably poured by the artists in rural parts of Ireland!

Being in London its mostly Abbott ale or sometimes when available Samuel Smiths beers..

I hate mass market bilge I do... :x

Fullers 'ESB', Hopback 'Summer Lightening', Samuel Smith's 'Taddy Poprter', Bank Top 'Port O'Call' [a local Bolton brew], Castle Rock 'Harvest Pale', Sarah Hughes' 'Ruby Ale'. Many other notable mentions but these stand out. :morebeer

i'll have to go for stella, fosters or carling.

and i can't wait to be abused for drinking "mass marketed bilge..." etc!

but tbh i don't really drink beer anymore, i'm having an affair with Jack Daniels.

I might have to start another thread on wine because Aussie red is my favourite tipple. I usually have a couple of beers before I hit the red though.

Fav beer in London = Young's Special 8)

Fav Beer (lager) in Oz = VB

Imported Heineken is very popular here too.

It depends on how adventurous I'm feeling.

Budweiser for a normal mood, Corona with lime for a special good mood :)

But I'm also a shot person. The current favourite is red aftershock with a smattering of Baileys over the top.
