Hi Everyone.

I will give you a quick run through of what i have done so hopefully you can advise me what to do next.

Ok a year and a half ago i decided to go into the world of I.T,
Have always be fasinated by PC, and computer games so thought this would be my Dream Proffesion.

Went on a boot camp with TrainingCamp passed the A+ & Network+, felt like a million dollars and went and got a job, in desktop support.

Changed jobs since then and now am on a 2nd line support Desk.

All going great and i feel the Exp i have gain is fantastic!

Basically bored with what i am doing and want to move on to the next step, have become very interested in secruity and wondered what is the best route to now take?

Was thinking Security+ but bot sure if thats the best thing to do, Any advise would be greatly appreciated as i have come to a Stop Sign and am not sure what to do.(except play WOW lol)

There are security experts who hang around here, so I'm sure they will be along to make suggestions.

My view (as a non-security expert) is that taking Security+ would at least start you down your chosen road.

Security + seems the logical next step, at least it will give you an understanding of the concepts involved and will therefore help you decide whether or not security is really what you want to get into.
