I purchased a lenovo tablet, nothing special but does the job, I only use it for streaming video as it struggles to run anything intensive like a game. I was originally planning to get an ipad but couldnt justify spending the £.. Im generally not a fan of Android systems, I dont know what it is but I have never had an Android phone or tablet that has lasted 2 years yet my iPhone 3,4s,5s and now iPhone 7 are all working perfectly (the older phones have been passed down to family members).

    I have a few devices.

    Nexus 7
    Lenovo 7inch tablet
    nVidia Shield tablet
    Apple iPad Pro.

I tend to use the iPad for most things.

Tbh fine it surf's the web Ok but I don't have office or anything on it. The reason I've kept it so long is that it was the first one to have the retina display. So everything still looks good and it plays Netflix and pluralsight fine

iPad 3 is still a decent tablet, as long as you're not expecting to play A+++ titles aimed at the latest hardware then you're going to be fine with it, heck even my old Mini 4 was still roaring a long.
