What next

    So......

    I have experience now and seem to have developed my skillset but know I am short in areas. The thing that seems to be getting my attention, is the security aspect of IT, I think I want to go down that route, which is a shame because the place I work at, only has the one role, which I am no way near qualified for.

    Well, just thought I would put that out there, im in a waffle mood and all that

    Thanks for sharing Ed. Its never waffle mate. There's nothing stopping you studying IT security. Have you had a look at the CompTIA Security+? I've said a few times on here that it's possibly my most enjoyable cert. Don't know why. Just loved studying for it and passing the exam

    Another vote for Security+ and have a look at CEH as well - on my list :)
