Easy! Has to be my Amiga 1200. Blew my mind back in the early 90's, I loved it. Most influential however probably was my ZX Spectrum 48k with rubber keys, in terms of me getting the nerd bug

The 500 has many advantages such as the ability to double the ram easily. Also my mate had the cd drive for it which was epic at the time. You couldn’t get that for 1200. Also a few games only run on 500 for some reason. There was a great army game but I forget it’s name

I had the 20 MB harddrive and 513 MB RAM expansion.
Was the game you were thinking about cannon fodder ?

Oh wow yeah actually I had an Amiga 600 first. No where near as good the 500 but that had a 20 meg hard drive and it was more than enough at the time.

Loved cannon fodder but it wasn’t that. So just googled it and you’ve done me a big favour mate because I’ve found it! Fire force!

    Amiga 500.

Endless hours playing Kick Off 2 and Indy 500 – purchased a memory upgrade so I could watch replays of the races. Happy Days

ZX Spectrum 48k. My first ever computer.

Ninja Scooter Simulator. Quite possibly the best named game of all time.

I never had the Amiga's, the Commodore's etc - my first was a gift from my Grandad, an Amstrad CPC-464. I think it took longer to load the games from cassette than I actually spent playing them before my attention span ran out

One of my mates had a CPC 464. It was a great machine that's often overlooked I think. We used to play Batman and Barry McGuigans boxing on it. Loved it

Amiga 48k was my first computer and I loved it, however once I saw WorkBench running on the Amiga 500 I was hooked :)
