What different job titles are there that cover IT support?

    A company can call an IT support position whatever they want... so it's useless to try to enumerate them all.
     
    Certifications: CISSP, MCSE+I, MCSE: Security, MCSE: Messaging, MCDST, MCDBA, MCTS, OCP, CCNP, CCDP, CCNA Security, CCNA Voice, CNE, SCSA, Security+, Linux+, Server+, Network+, A+
    WIP: Just about everything!

    Have to agree, the wealth of different job titles you'll see is incredible and even when you see the same job title across multiple companies the role itself can vary wildly.

    First line support, Service Desk Analyst, Telephone Support, each can be used to describe the role but all are essentially the same thing, its more about looking at the kind of work\experience required.
