    So was I. Calvin and Hobbes (and you should know this if you actually read the Wikipedia article) was a newspaper comic strip. The comics you cite are actually cartoons. Calvin and Hobbes was one of the most interesting and entertaining newspaper comic strips around. All or the vast majority of them are collected in various books, so you can probably pick one up at your local bookstore or library. :wink:
