Sitting at work thinking the same as derkit.....

Although an upshot my company has agreed to pay for exam, book and test questions from my past microsoft exams! Although my job is still a little mandane.

Started studying 70-284 again! Decided to start at the start and not stop! Finished 1 chapter and 1 CBT nugget last night.

 

Right now im sitting at work counting the seconds until home-time.......sooo boring

 

Trying to take over the world.

 

Getting over the response from my aforementioned colleague, who's laptop I repaired.

Annoyed, as she wanted a new one, not too surprised by that though to be honest. 2 hours later she calls me over and exclaims across the office loudly that "this thing is dead again".

I was slightly gutted until I thought to say "is it plugged in" - cue some annoyed mumbling and the sound of a plug going into the socket.

Aside from that, I am taking a break to do the TCP/IP chapter of N+ and thinking about booking the exam for 5-6 weeks.

 

Sitting at work trying to take over the world before BM.

 

Also suffering from the early effects of the dreaded man flu, but trying to avoid admitting that its slowly taking control of me...

At the moment; sitting down for the first time at work, after replacing one of our switches that decided to pack up this morning, thus creating mad panic throughout the office that the world is going to end and all of our heads will explode. 10 minutes later, calm.

Also trying to get sorted for 70-270, its been way too long and im not making enough progress with it.

 

Reviewing notes on 70-294 to prepare for the exam.

Just realised how much choc swiss roll I have managed to eat whilst researching how best to deploy some stuff this morning.

Maaaan my stomach is swollen

just killed a blackberry via the server after being informed that it had been misplaced . . . 5-6 weeks ago

Was last accessed 2 weeks ago . . Now formulating a very polite but strong email about why the loss of a Blackberry needs to be reported immediately.

. . . oh, this is the same person who was angry that I fixed her laptop Bless her.

trying to get excited and motivated over Net+......... I really can't - any advice?

Fixing my own Internet connection at home by changing the frickin upstream on the CM for about the gazillionth time this week. Virgin Robbing Media.

 

Was browsing www.hotukdeals.com and saw the place I was married at, which was £5 a night for dinner bed and breakfast (half board).

Found two nights, one on my wifes birthday and one in August, so for the price of a tenner, we are going here Normally would have cost about £200 - £250 ish.

Hasn't broken my wallet and I have gotten some massive browny points from the Mrs for being romantic, prudent and I'm allowed to spend more time on the web
