    ummm, like if you would run over a skunk with your tire on the car. It would be mashed or sqaushed afterwards. And no I do not remove the mother from her pups at night. Not sure if I could even if I wanted to.

    Most breeder separate the mother during the night and keep the pups warm using lamps. They do this to prevent the mother crushing the babies in her sleep. Our breeder puts up a bed in the laborroom and gets the mother in every 2 or 3 hours to feed the pups.

    Wow Tinus, I've have never heard of that before. And I don't know any breeders here that do that either. While that does make sense I won't sepearate banshee from her pups and put that kind of stress on her. She is right beside my side of the bed so if I hear puppes crying I just turn on the flash light now and make sure they are all ok now. It is going to be a long month.:biggrin
