    Hey,

I'm not sure what to do for my 70-270 welcome kit...should there be one? (surely you must at least get a certificate?)

I've logged into the MCP website, and it registers the fact that i passed 270, but where there's normally the option to request a kit, there is no-where to confirm my address details like with my previous exams...because it's not that long since my last pass, will it automatically be sent, or do you have to request each individual one....

    I'm baffled :blink

    Aha...

    just found this:

"According to our records, you are not eligible to order a welcome kit or certificate at this time. This may be because you have already placed your order or because you have not yet earned a new certification. Please note that it may take up to ten business days for your records to transfer from your test center to our database. If you would like to update an order that you have already placed, check the status of your shipment, or feel that our records are incorrect, please contact your Regional Service Center for assistance."

...so do I not get a certificate??? Will contact the service centre for assistance as it says...

You won't get a welcome kit this time round as you already received the MCP welcome kit when you did the first MS exam:

You've already received the welcome kit for the MCP & MCDST the next time you get another welcome kit is when you attain the MCSA or the MCTS/MCITP, etc.

    Hope this helps

I'd chase them up although you aren't missing much IMHO

I think the blue and white certificates are so poor, plain and cheap looking that you could knock one up yourself in 10 minutes

I was deeply disappointed when I got mine
