Web Script To Display Directory

Is there a script i could put in a website that would display the contents of a web directory but just under a certain file type format say .exe

I know nothing about web design, but i thought that was the idea of the index.htm page.....
An exe is an executable program......

 

yes but i want a script to put inside a web page that would list all the files in a web directory in a certain file format e.g. .exe

AFAIK if this is what you want this is just a setting (well - under Apache it is).
