I've done some research, but I thought I canvas opinion here.

I need to stream a web-cam with audio in about a months time. I've got quite a decent cam, I just need the software.

Most of the software packages I've seen involve doing port-forwarding on the ADSL router/modem that the cam is on. As this router belongs to someone else I wonder if anyone had come across a system of involving another site, and getting the web-cam to 'push' to that site?

    Any thoughts?

We have something called Polycom PVX that gets used for Video conferencing.

Never used it though as we also have a Hardware Video conferencing solution. (it never gets used either!)

We've got one of those Si and yes ours doen't get used very often either.

Funny this subject has come up, because we have been asked to stream an interview with an old Oundleian, Prof someone or other, and stream it out to Jefferson High School in the USA. I was going to use the Vid conf unit and stick an external camera onto it. But if there is another solution to this I would be mighty interested.
