I'm glad this Thread came along when it did - good for Folks to see that we do actually have mostly rational, spirited and educated debate and discussion around here, as opposed to having to waste our time on wasters, scammers and p1ss-takers who offer nothing (well, occasionally we get a good laugh from them  )

Nice one Guys - I've enjoyed this Thread enormously :)

Well I for one love history! As obvious as it seems, history is what makes us who we are today!

Does that make any sense? I'm on my 4th bottle (1 Litre) of San Miguel so my apologies!

    Cheers

This may piss a few off but I for one am gratefull that blair had our back.

As for 9/11 I really don't belive that many people new it was coming and those that did just wouldn't belive someone would have the balls to attack us again. I know most of us americans didn't. We were to secure with what happen in the past to think someone would dare do it again. And I really don't belive Bush new it was coming. I watched him cry with the rest of us on national tv, then I watch him pull us back togather again and give us hope. Bush is an old fashion country boy. He not the type to wait and let someone bring a fight into his front yard. He is going to meet it head on. I stand behind him all the way. And all those that fight to give me the freedom to write this.

As for ww2. We had just sign a peace treat 20 years earlier. We were not about to break it that easy.

Marshall Foch of France did indeed comment that the Treaty of Versailles just amounted to a 20 year truce...he said that in 1919!

The foresight of some people is amazing...or was it just common sense?

I would like to officially apologize to our American Cousins for my jerky boy words earlier in this thread. Really sorry. I'm glad we "got your back". We are 2 of the rare countries that actually do care about what happens to each other.

I just watched my box-set of Brother In Arms again and man, it brings it home. I just hope the ordinary citizens of the USA understand that we truly are with you all the way. Most of us anyway.

Again, please accept my humble apology

    Davver :(

p.s. I only open my mouth to change feet really
