At this risk of controversy, I have no time for folks that want to mouth off about Government, but don't vote (regardless of the Party you choose).

And yet, they wonder why they lose more of their rights each year.

 

Spot on Gav! This is especially right seeing as this month is the 60th anniversary of VE-Day, which marks the ending of a war where millions fought and died to defend our democracy from tyranny!

Use your vote! Many died to get it, preserve it and to defend it!

I may be wrong, but I take what comes.
I should add my voice, but I think they all talk the same s**t. At the end of the day, our lives won't change overnight by checking a box.

 

Millions of Apathetic Germans thought the same in 1932...look how quickly their lives changed!

 

Even a protest vote is more valuable than no vote. As long as you take part in democracy, that's what counts.

I always think it's odd that we value our right to vote, and our reasons for voting for whoever, yet keep our voting so top secret.
On this forum, we all speak out freely about which courses or training providers we like, yet if you ask someone how they voted today, they get all shifty. Surely, if you belive in a party strongly enough to vote for them, you should be able to admit the fact and sing their praises?
That only sprang to my mind because we were talking about it in the office today and if you actually asked someone eho they supported it was as if you had asked them if they had VD.
Is it me?
