    Absolutely. It's pretty much the whole point of VMWare. I've got two Windows Server 2003 domain controllers running in a virtual domain with two client PCs (2000 Pro and XP Pro) as domain members. I do RAID 5 on one DC, replication, Group Policies, the works. It's a network in a box...and I don't have to have 4 separate PCs sitting under my desk taking up space. :)

    you do software raid 5 with dynamic disks trip?

    Well...you can't add a "real" disk to a virtual machine, but you can add virtual hardware...and you don't even have to open up the case. :biggrin
