Watching Vista install nust be one of the most boring things in the world.
Mind you, it makes more sense than XP during installation, when it kept telling you how great it was even though you had already bought it.

Installed mine copy the other day on Virtual PC, after about 10 mins of looking at it I decides that it was Windows XP, but with a new theme!

Beta 1 is pretty much XP with a new theme
CTP1 September is more longhorny, and with monthly CTP set to follow, it should only get better

both MSDN and Technet are subscription services, not limited to certified professionals
so anyone can purchase them, if you want to spend that kind of money lol
wait till they release the CTP to the public, usually costs like 10 quid shipping thats it

Don't forget that this is a beta. It may not be ready yet for using as your primary operating system. Betas are often bug ridden and slow, so don't be surprised if it's as flaky as ME :biggrin

    Good luck though!

Oh yeah I'm not expecting it to be ready by an means, I'm just wanting to see it combined with the Office 12 Beta. I could put it on my laptop or a VM but you dont quite get the same experiance then do you?
