Vista Boot issue BOOTCFG

    Had no luck with it mate, i managed to get it past where i was by completely rebuilding the BOOTCFG. Once i got past there though i started having issues with various files being missing from the HDD, i took copies of these files from my vista partiton and copied these to the laptop with DOS, but then started getting an error saying that the registry was corrupt.
    I decided to cut my losses then and got everything i could off the HDD (couldnt get many of the pics) and then i made the recovery partition active and done a fresh install, we managed to get the rest of her pics off facebook as they were posted on there.
    Im canny happy that i had a go at it though because ive learnt loads about vistas various boot options so its all good lol. :)
