OMG Jak, stop it, my sides are splitting.

Seriously though, is this the only way you find out about the newest threats? I've been looking on Symantec and McAfee for an advisory newsletter but I haven't found one yet (not unusual for me).

 

I wasn't trying to be funny - that, and the Security and Thingy forum (OMG, I'm getting bad at remembering the titles). Also, BBC, ZDNet, etc, and general word-of-screen kind of tip-offs.

Oops, just read 'virus file'. AJ is that the virus definitions update or a notification that there is a new virus on the loose?

 

Also AJ, can you clarify if this notification email is of a general new threat of a virus in the wild, and is it available to anyone, or just existing Sophos customers (and those who blag it for home thru their work )

 

Okay, just found out that McAfee have an email alert called McAfee Dispatch, but it's so hidden that you can hardly find it.
