Hi all

decided to sit the VCP 2023 in data center virtualisation remotely last night which focussed on vSphere 8. I’m at the stage now where this is my sixth or seventh VCP so I used the VMware on demand install configure manage course and the blueprint to pass. If you don’t know, the blueprint lays out what you should know to pass, a tick list so to speak.

A less well known fact is that if you pass a VCP, as long as it’s below 2 years from when you passed, you only need to watch the ICM course on demand from VMware to renew your VCP. You don’t need to sit the exam again. Unfortunately for me I’d focussed on other VCPs and Google certs and so needed to sit it.

Passed with 348 which is only just about a pass, but I only decided I’d sit it this week so I can’t complain too much.
