I have been asked to make a website for my local karate club and was wondering how others make their banners at the top of the site? The thing I really want to do is have a picture of some people in some sort of pose slightly faded with a grid over the top of the picture. Get my drift ?

I can fade the picture alright, but cant put a grid over it with out doing it manually with different distances between the lines..

I have Adobe photoshop 2, and fireworks MX..I cant seem to find a way to do this with these, so does anyone know which is the best program to use or how I could do what I want with what I have ?

    Many thanks..Angus

err making a grid like that is usually done manually by myself also
the key is to turn on the grid (software grid for ruler type stuff)
    and zoom right in

its much easier to make sure all the lines are appropriately distanced and such then, really doesnt take long at all :)
