Just read this on the BBC. Michael, where are you? Aren't you a fan? Which of the guys with the bag over his head is you?

Neither; I don't have the money to spend on front-row seats. Or top-row seats, for that matter - not when I can watch the game better on my home TV.

So I sat at home watching the game with a bag over my head.

Thing is, Mike - I watched the game too. Up until Sunday, the Titans were probably my votes for the best ever 0-4 team. Unfortunately, on Sunday you played like an 0-10 team.

Good time to be a Broncos fan though :biggrin

I can tell you, it's tough to be a Titans fan this year. Everyone seems to be calling for Vince Young to play again, but he proved last year that he isn't the answer, so I don't know what they're going to do. The defense couldn't stop Phoenix's Boise State Broncos right now.

How did the game look without a bag over your head? :D

Still, compare the Titans to the other 0-5 teams... they're still the best ever 0-5 team. 8)

not that that's saying much... :tune

The thing that concerns me is that they're getting worse with each game. Hopefully, Fisher will be able to correct some of the mistakes and turn the season around sooner rather than later. He's done it before.

The game looked pretty bad... but then again I had just watched a very good game - as Denver beat the Pats in OT. No shame in the Colts giving you a pasting (Manning is just stellar at the moment and they'll dish it out to a few more teams this year) but Josh is right - the Titans are getting worse with each game. Also right on Vince Young not being the answer - he was dreadful last year and must have p***ed off the fans after flipping them off.

Offense-wise I rate Collins as a pocket passer, but as soon as he has to go walkies he's just dreadful - you either need to get the running game going again (Lord knows you've got two excellent backs in there) or stick with Collins and do something - anything - maybe even change up the playbook - to make your passing plays less predictable. Also, cut out the bonehead turnovers.

On defense it doesn't take a genius to see your secondary is crud - like I said earlier, it's OK getting trashed by Manning & Co, but David Garrard is, frankly, pants - and he roasted them the other week too. You've also lost an undeniable leader of men - and one of the best players ever to play in his position in Albert Haynesworth... and you don't recover easily from that.

Still, cheer up - you've only got to go to Foxboro next week :(

Yeah, the turnovers have killed them. Their first three games were decided on a single bad play. That said, they've looked absolutely pitiful in the last two games.

As far as VY is concerned, they really have no other option but to use him from here on out. Not because I think he gives us a better chance to win - not at all. But he's due a HUGE bonus at the end of this year/start of the next, and they've GOT to decide whether to keep him or let him go. After all, this is also the final year of Kerry's contract.

Playcalling has been horrible, IMO. 2nd and 26 and you run it? Up the MIDDLE? With a back designed to hit 88 mph down the sidelines?!? :blink (GREAT SCOTT! :ohmy)

They're all injured. We've got one veteran, and the rest are n00bs.

Well, that's debatable. Albert tends to only play well during contract years. He gets hurt - a LOT. He gets winded running from the bench to the huddle. And he's not so much a leader as he is a mountain or a force of nature; he makes everyone around him better not because he's a good leader, but because he's double- or triple-teamed.

Albert's good. Very good. And the Titans miss him, whether they'll admit it or not. But he's not worth $100 million over 7 years... particularly when he's now 6 1/2 years away from his next contract.

Really, how's he improved the Redskins? They're 2-3, despite being the first team in NFL history to play their first SIX games against winless teams. Worse, they got beat by the freakin' KITTY CATS.

Why don't we all just calm down, stop kidding ourselves and just admit that THE NEW YORK GIANTS WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR! YAY! GO GIANTS! GO!!!!!!!!!! :alc

Actually, I was at a friends the other night watching the Packers vs Vikings game (he's a lifelong Packers fan and his wife is a lifelong Vikings fan if anyone cared to know) and I gave him my prediction for this years Superbowl.

I got it right last year, and the year before that so hopefully will get three in a row this time. My prediction for the Superbowl is:

New York Jets vs Minnesota Vikings

I originally said Denver vs Minnesota but didn't expect Denver to hold out their run (even though they are currently 5-0.....as are my mighty GIANTS! :D)

Football has just sucked this year. First my beloved Eagles hires Vicks! What the hell is wrong with them people? They should be scoring like the titans for such an act. I'll boycott them till he is gone which is very very sad since I've been an eagle fan from day 1.

So I decide to turn to my state team. Titans twitter fans have fallen quiet and I don't tell anyone I live here anymore.

So now I am left going with Joe's team Miami Dolphins. At least they win once in a while for pete sake.

...at least you're not a Browns or Bengals fan! :biggrin

I have a handful of friends from Philly here in Cayman, they are still Eagles fans but hate the whole Vick thing. Sadly here some idiots think it's 'cool' to have his replica shirt. Thankfully my friends agree it's ridiculous, so does my dog. :)

<rant>On the flip side, they'll make money by selling him next year to someone so it's not all bad. I believe he hasn't played yet? Personally I think he should have been banned for life from the game, castrated by a hungry hippo and stung to death by a million bees while getting a 'cartoon anvil' dropped on his face from a great height during his final breaths; but that's just my opinion on the scum of the Earth that get a kick from cruelty to animals. Actually I wouldn't wish it on the hippo or bees to have to carry the act out so may as well just use some good old fashioned Polonium on him instead.</rant>

I've followed (and never lost devotion) to my beloved New York Giants since I was but a child. I've followed them since the mid-80's when I was at school and gridiron became popular in the UK (thanks to Channel 4 I believe) around the same time as Kabbadi (which didn't). Had a Phil Simms shirt and everything!

I have no ties to New York personally, just when it was popular everyone picked a team (most kids at school liked Miami Dolphins or the then Los Angeles Raiders). I chose New York Giants and never looked back.*

*except for last Christmas when I forced my friends from CA to agree that it would be the best thing in the universe if the Rams moved back to LA 'just because' they could stop being 49ers fans and support a better team. Oh the jest! :)

I got a nice payback for that though in that the wife (also from CA) baked me a batch of sugar cookies for Christmas complete with hand-iced LA RAMS HELMETS ON THEM! YAY!

    ...anyway, back on topic.

    GO GIANTS GO!

I've seen people on twitter say, he has done his time let him play. He didn't do his time. He bought his time. If that had been any of us normal not rich people we still be in jail. A philly fan that has a box was not allowed to enter her box because she had some kind of NON Vicks on her shirt. I think it was his name in a circle or something that was X out. WTH! She paid for that box who are they to deny her free speech. Right now I can't stand the eagles owners and in no way will I support them. He has no right to be any child's hero. OK rant over. Maybe...

    You mean, like the Cowboys?

The Raiders are just incompetent. The Chargers don't annoy me at all.

I think this upcoming weekend will be the best one of the year for the Titans.
