Well done man, I guess that was out of 900? If so, that's 94%, nice.

 

Well done on the pass, better than I did and in this heat! I am doing the 291 at the mo, much harder than the others I have done so far, but doing the VPN stuff in security+ has helped no end!

Once I've got that one under my belt, I think it will be time for little study break - like a year !

Well I have got my exam in 8 days so hopefully quite well!
I have just finished the book (Syngress) and just going through doing all the mini tests in the Microsoft book at the moment, also brought 'DNS for dummies' just to hammer it home (not done much DNS at work). Just got my Security+ Cert and card through the post - the card is paper! I was expecting a nice plastic one like Microsoft, cheep buggers!

Yeah, I'm doing the 291, too. Originally booked in for June 17th but cancelled when Microsoft extended the free resit offer. Could have rebooked on the same day but... I lost my bottle So I've now got a few extra weeks and will sit on July 8th I breezed through the 290 (only four questions wrong out of the 44) but finding this one a bit of a swine - think I'll really need that free resit

EDIT- EEEEK, that's a fortnight tomorrow

 

Jamin - I ended up laminating my other Comptia one's.......
There not quite in the same league at the M$ one's.

I did too after replacing my A+ one when it got so dog-eared! The most expensive option is to join CompTIA IT Pro and you get a nice "Business Card" which lists your CompTIA certs down one side. It's better quality, almost matching the Microsoft ones, and cuts down the bulk in your wallet (yours must be really full up )!

Cheers - I'LL need it I'm pretty sure you'll hear me screaming with joy when I, eventually, make the final MCSA step

Well done to everyone who has passed this before. I got 820 today and was pleased with that. Used the Osborne All-in-One book by Gregory White (read all 500 pages!)and sharpened up with some tests.

Found I had plenty of time but maybe 15 or so of the questions were ambiguos were 2 potentially correct answers. Probably got half of them correct.

Hi Phil, welcome and congratulations. That said, I do need to play devil's advocate here and make you aware that we have a strict anti-brain-dump policy with regards to cert-taking.

I don't mean to p1$$ on your parade, and I wont labour the point, but Testkings fall squarely into the braindump category, and are loathed by most here as being innacurate, unethical, devaluing to all who seek IT certs, and quite possibly illegal as well.
